Practice Update – Moving to Karlskoga, Sweden in October 2025
In October 2025, I will be moving to Sweden. Even after the move, I will gladly remain available for Dutch clients via video, so I can continue to support you – just in a slightly different way. Below you can read what this means for my availability and how I will work in the coming period:
From 19 September to 26 October 2025:
– Temporarily unavailable for appointments for new clients due to the move.
– During this period, I will still be reachable via email and WhatsApp, but it may take a little longer than usual for you to receive a reply.
From 27 October 2025:
– I will be available again for online video appointments for new clients.
– Please note: From this point on, I will be working without contracts with Dutch health insurers. You will receive the invoice directly from me and pay it yourself.
– After payment, you may be able to submit the invoice to your health insurer for (partial) reimbursement, depending on your policy and coverage.
– You can usually find this information in your insurance terms under the section "non-contracted care".
If you have any questions or would like to discuss what this means for you, feel free to contact me – I’m happy to think along with you!

Nutrition & Dietetics expertise
After working with many different clients in various hospitals in the US, and also in primary care in the Netherlands, I decided to focus my services on areas that I am truly passionate about. Specializing means I can further deepen my knowledge in these areas, and help my clients better.
I am a fodmap trained dietitian at Monash University and I use ACT - Acceptance and Commitment Training methodology for lifestyle and behavior change.

Reimbursement, rates & important information
Referral and Direct Accessibility
For most health insurers, no referral is needed to see a dietitian. The dietitian is directly accessible (DTD). However, without a referral, I have less information about you. That’s why the first appointment includes a screening, where we’ll look at your medical history, medication use, and other relevant information. A general practitioner or a medical specialist (such as a gastroenterologist) can also refer you to me via Zorgdomein.

Reimbursement
The first three hours of treatment per calendar year are reimbursed through basic health insurance. Be aware that these costs count toward your deductible. Only once your deductible is used up will the costs be covered.
You can book the following consultations:
-
Initial intake consultation: 75 minutes
-
Extended follow-up consultation: 45 minutes
-
Short follow-up consultation: 30 minutes
-
Weigh-in consultation: 15 minutes

What if my treatment takes longer than three hours?
If the three reimbursed hours of dietetic care from the basic insurance have been used you have a couple of choices. If you have an additional insurance it is possible that it covers more hours. You can always check this with your health insurance.
It is also always possible to continue the treatment at your own expense. In that case, I’ll send the invoice directly to you.
Changing your eating habits and lifestyle takes time — it's completely normal that this can’t be achieved in just a few sessions. It requires time, attention, and support to create truly lasting changes. Nutrition is not separate from the rest of your life. That’s why I don’t just look at what you eat, but also at how you eat, your emotions, habits, stress levels, sleep, and your personal situation. These elements all influence one another.
Sometimes, that extra guidance is exactly what makes the difference between “just trying” and lasting results.

Explanation of Treatment Time
The treatment time a dietitian charges for may consist of two components:
-
Contact time: the time when the client is physically present.
-
Individual dietary prescription: the time the dietitian spends analyzing nutritional, dietetic, and medical data, possibly calculating dietary needs, and preparing a personalized plan. The client is usually not present during this part.
A consultation includes contact time and, if necessary, an individual dietary prescription. The total time spent is always rounded to the nearest 15 minutes.
Eat Grow Flow has contracts in 2025 with the following health insurers:
-
Zilveren Kruis
-
Menzis
-
VGZ
-
CZ
-
ONVZ
-
DSW
-
Zorg en Zekerheid
-
ASR

My insurer is different or not listed here — can I still book a consultation with you?
Yes, you can. In that case, you will receive an invoice directly from me. You pay the invoice yourself and may be able to submit it to your insurer for partial reimbursement. This varies per insurance provider. You can always check with your insurer about the reimbursement for non-contracted care.

Rates and Consultations
For care claimed through a contracted health insurer, the rate set by that insurer applies.
For care not reimbursed by your insurer, the following rates apply:
-
Initial intake consultation (75 min): €100
-
Extended follow-up consultation (45 min): €60
-
Short follow-up consultation (30 min): €40
-
Weigh-in consultation (15 min): €20
Payments
For reimbursed hours, I bill your health insurer directly — you don’t need to do anything.
For non-reimbursed hours, I will send you an invoice by email or post with a 14-day payment term.

No-Show, Cancellations, or Rescheduling
If you are unable to attend an appointment, I kindly ask you to cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours in advance, so I can offer that time slot to someone else.
If you fail to cancel or reschedule in time, you will be charged the full consultation fee. The no-show rates are the same as the consultation rates listed above. These costs are not reimbursed by your insurer, so you must pay them yourself.
You can cancel or reschedule an appointment via phone/voicemail at 06 – 20 10 24 24 or by email at info@eatgrowflow.nl.
